"I'm hardly decrepit."

"No, no! It's just...is she?"

"Lin is two years younger than I am. So no, she is not quite 'me-old.'"

"Oh. So...is she seeing anyone?"

"We are not having this conversation, Korra."

One thing, though: why does the intro speak of "four" elements? IDGI. Especially when the series mentions metal-benders.

Excellent question! Short answer: metalbending is a sub-discipline of earthbending. Slightly longer answer: Earthbenders used to believe that metal couldn't be controlled, but Lin's mother, who was denied proper training as a child because of her blindness, essentially taught herself from scratch and invented the practice, then went on to start her own school and found the metal-bending police force.

(Also, if it arises, lightning-bending is likewise a sub-discipline of firebending.)

Ahahaha every line has been perfect and in-character, but this made me laugh out loud. Totally 16-year-old with a crush. And the next line!

(Despite having watched the first Avatar series haha. I watched it mainly between midnight and six am in sitting with my friends.)
