Fannish Fifty 2023

I'm trying my hand at a posting challenge in the new year, and I'm dropping the link now for anyone likewise looking for some flexible inspiration.

Fannish Fifty 2023

The premise is simple: make fifty fannish posts throughout the year. They can take any form, no rhyme or reason required. Anything you want to post about anything that lights you up.

Myself, I'm aiming to make a post each for fifty characters I'm fannish about. i.e. Once a week I will be staggering up like a small child recklessly carrying a large unimpressed cat and will be proudly shoving the unhappy creature in your direction while declaring inarticulately that I love it. Just a heads-up.

Ha, 100% - angry and grumbling but hanging limp and resigned in my grasp as I cart him out and ramble incoherently about how he's like if Iago was the standard-bearer for Hamlet instead of Othello. He's going to be #1 on the list.

Ooo, this looks fun!!!!! Absolutely no idea how far I'll get, considering college madness, but this is so much more of a fun new year's resolution to strive for than y'know lose weight etc. ;)

How's college treating you? (Besides, understandably, keeping you busy?)

The nice thing about challenges like this, I figure, is that even if I don't get far, that's still a few posts I might not otherwise have made. Still a net positive, even if I tap out early. For my chosen theme, my list of characters I'm presently and pressingly fannish about ran out at 47, but I'm living in faith that I'll fall narratively in love three more times this year. :D
