Dear Self,

You have two to three stories you're supposed to be finishing before the end of the month. Why then have you started a fourth? (Answer: because the idea of a certain two A:TLA characters being all brooding and horny and hermit-y together is delicious).

Also, you've had a week off. Why did you get nothing useful done? (Answer: because you slept a lot and revelled in Not Being At Work.)

*eyes the calendar* Okay, I can still pull this off. But I have learned that my "the more I have to do, the more I get done" philosophy has its limits.

I don't know how ANY of you high volume producing writers do it. I can't imagine pulling this off unless I was in class and terrified of flunking. Good luck!

*laughs* Thanks—and you know, that's exactly what spurs me. I've been out of school for over two years now, but I've not let myself get out of the mindset that I have due dates.
